The House impeached the President today
But even if impeachment won’t go through
Because the Senate votes that he should stay
This reprimand has been long overdue
Is the establishment of government
Based on the public’s choice and reflection?
And if our President’s a miscreant
Can we move to obtain his ejection?
Are spin and bribes the stuff of this nation?
Is our leader above the law somehow?
We are in need of rejuvenation
Unraveling corruption should start now
A Senator that makes a selfish choice
Is drowning out the average person’s voice
