Drive Safely
I’m biking down a country lane
I crash my bike, let me explain
I hear a car, I turn to see
A woman in an SUV
The woman clearly wants to pass
Rounding a turn, she hits the gas
A car coming the other way
Joins our tight squeeze (to my dismay)
After the pass, the brake she pumps
Due to two unforeseen speed bumps
I can’t believe this fuckin’ bitch!
I steer my bike into a ditch
And then I hit an old stone wall
And that precipitates my fall
I shred my jeans upon a rock
I crack my rib, I'm now in shock
The woman stops and leaves her car
And then she mentions from afar
That "bike riding is dangerous"
With her driving, that’s true for us
